Senior Investments Principal - Africa

Mariam is a member of Codevelop’s Africa Investment team, bringing over a decade of experience in international development. Her work centers on improving quality of life through innovative, sustainable, and inclusive solutions, with a focus on sectors such as waste management, technical education, private sector cooperation, and digital transformation.

Mariam combines academic training through her studies in business informatics and public administration. In addition to  hands-on expertise in donor coordination, multi-stakeholder engagement, and capacity development. Her strengths lie in strategic analysis, needs assessment, and impact measurement, all while curating and fostering strong partnerships across governments, NGOs, the private sector, and international organizations to drive both social and economic progress.

Beyond her professional life, Mariam is driven by a deep passion for social impact and systems change. She’s a member of the Pi Alpha Alpha, AUC chapter Honor Society for Public Administration and Public Policy, and brings the same energy and discipline from her days as a competitive athlete into her work. Curious and always on the move, she enjoys traveling, staying active, and exploring history wherever she goes.
