Lisette Solis
Technical Advisor
Lisette is a technical advisor specializing in data governance, AI, and civic technology. She most recently worked for the Responsible AI Division at the Department of Defense, where she helped define federal policy on AI use and developed tools to help staff better understand AI risks.
With nearly a decade of experience in international development, Lisette has worked at the intersection of technology and social impact across multiple organizations. At the Development Innovation Lab, she researched the impact of innovations and technology in the developing world. She has also worked for the United Nations, Fair Trade USA, and the non-profit, blueEnergy.
Lisette holds a Master of Science in Computational Analysis and Public Policy from the University of Chicago's computer science department and a Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Economics from UC Berkeley.
Outside of work, Lisette enjoys swimming and exploring New York City where she lives.
